Changing the MG Midget’s oils - plus I get a long over-due haircut

In this episode we continue the thorough servicing of the 1973 MkIII MG Midget and get to draining the 1275 A-series engine oil; after first giving it an engine flush treatment. We also drain other lubricants in the gearbox and rear axle / differential. As part of the drain down we plan to take out the oil cooler and make sure there is no old oil or oil flush in there. We also end up having to get the grinder out to make two tools (a drain pug extractor and an oil filter remover) to assist in getting the job done. Finally we take drastic measures to get a haircut after having the barnet get completely wayward over the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions here in the UK. Unfortunately I ran out of garage time to complete the entire work so this is just part 1 of 2.
