Might is Right!
One often hears the argument that morality is useless since only might is right in the real world. In fact, in this form, it is nothing but a tautology. It makes power the basis for morality and hence inverts the causal chain that morality is supposed to serve. This is said to be the great insight of Nietzsche. But in fact, Nietzsche did not think that might was right. For Nietzsche, the slave morality could become dominant through superiority of numbers. Hence, he only supported the higher type of man's will to power. For Nietzsche, the higher type of man (the mighty) were always rights.
