Throne and Liberty First Impressions in 2026

Recently, I tried Throne and Liberty. In all honestly, I had a ton of fun while leveling and figuring the game out. I think the beginning of the game can be a little overwhelming as you start unlocking features and your menu UI starts growing. There are alot of menus you have to flip through to claim this, claim that, complete this or that, battlepass, and a cash shop. Not too different from alot of other free to play MMOs, but that's the main grip with these types of games. There's so much menu flipping that, if not done right, can make new players leave the game. The moment I opened the menu for the first time, I felt completely overwhelmed. Other than that, the story feels a bit weak. I will say some of the visuals in the story telling is really cool, but I wasn't too invested in what was going on. Anyway, here is a condensed version of the 3 hour livestream. After a couple days have passed, I've had time to process the "fun" factor and I don't think I'll come back to this game. Once again, I think it is fun but there isn't anything that calls me to come back. Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at   / papergoblins
