Visiting Earth 2.3 Billion Years Ago
The Huronian glaciation is one of many ice ages that the Earth had but it was also an unusually icy one, with ice potentially covering the entire planet. In this video I see what the Earth was like around 2.3 billion years ago which includes both the glacial and the interglacial periods of the Huronian, along with that I also examine the great oxidation event (or great oxygenation) which transformed the planet and also produced the Huronian ice age. Most clips in this video were made with Space Engine. Music: 1. Kevin MacLeod - Spacial Winds 2. Kevin MacLeod - Floating Cities 3. Huma-Huma - Eureka 4. Huma-Huma - Nevada City 5.
