The catastrophic wildfire that trapped Turia Pitt and other ultramarathoners | 60 Minutes Australia
In 2011, Turia Pitt was among the ultramarathon runners caught in a raging bushfire in the Kimberley, the northernmost region of Western Australia. A WA parliamentary inquiry in 2012 found the Hong Kong-based adventure company, Racing The Planet, was not legally liable or to blame for shocking burn injuries to competitors.
