Wanderung über den Kalenderberg Dauer ca. 1 3/4 Stunde Distanz ca. 5 km Nicht barrierefrei Ausgangs- und Endpunkt: Parkplatz Am Hausberg 2344 Maria Enzersdorf Jordankanzel Von hier aus hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Burg Mödling, den Husarentempel und Richtung Perchtoldsdorf, Brunn am Gebirge und weiter entfernt Richtung Wien. Schwarzer Turm Eines jener romantischen Bauwerke, mit denen Fürst Johann I den Kalenderberg schmücken ließ. Gebaut in den Jahren 1809/10 war er ursprünglich als Aussichtsturm errichtet. Der Turm ist jetzt bewohnt und kann nicht besichtigt oder bestiegen werden. Burg Liechtenstein Ein Idealbild einer Ritterburg. Errichtet um 1130 gilt die Burg als Stammsitz der Fürsten von Liechtenstein. 1808 kaufte Fürst Johann I den Stammsitz seiner Vorfahren zurück und ließ die Ruine ganz im Stile des Historismus als romantische Ritterburg wieder aufbauen. *************************************************** Hike over the calendar mountain Duration approx. 1 3/4 hour Distance approx. 5 km Not barrier-free Starting and ending point: parking spot Am Hausberg 2344 Maria Enzersdorf Jordankanzel From here you have a very nice view of Mödling Castle, Hussar Temple and towards Perchtoldsdorf, Brunn am Gebirge and further away towards Vienna. The tower is now inhabited and cannot be viewed or climbed. Burg Liechtenstein An ideal image of a knight's castle. Erected around 1130, the castle is considered the ancestral seat of the Princes of Liechtenstein.
