Lexus has introduced a special edition model, the "RZ F SPORT Performance," to its first battery EV-only model, the "RZ 450e," pursuing the driving experience and customization enjoyment unique to battery EVs. Based on the "RZ SPORT CONCEPT" exhibited at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, the aerodynamics and driving performance were thoroughly refined in collaboration with air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya and racing driver Masahiro Sasaki, embodying a design rooted in functionality.
