Walking the John Muir Way Day 9

Port Seton to North Berwick 14.2 miles After a lazy morning in my little cabin, I got a later morning (for me!) start. The first few of miles was along the beach and a trail that hugged the side of the main road. I was very lucky finding restrooms this morning. The first was a very clean port o let 2 miles in and a regular restroom around mile 4! I waa working on staying hydrated today. The took me through Aberlady, on a busy road for a while before going a trail that was along side a gulf course. The sky was getting darker, but thankfully I made it to the town of Gullane and the Cherish Vintage Tea Room just as it started to rain. After a nice break, with the rain still falling, I decided to just get back out there. About a mile on the sidewalk next to a busy road before turning off and joining a nice trail. Walked down a path through a farm, before entering the large Yellowcraig Park. Lucked out with a restroom in there, too! Got as close to Fidra Lighthouse as I could before leaving the park and entering another Golf zone area. This one had signs warning us of golf balls! I enjoyed the fancy neighborhood the path took me through before entering North Berwick and the end to my day. Such a cute town!
