52. MANCHESTER by NARROWBOAT. Waters Meeting Bridge to Castlefield & the Ashton Canal.

We continue our Narrowboat journey from Waters Meeting Bridge on the Bridgewater Canal toward Castlefield. We find a mooring and spend the night in Castlefield in our Narrowboat home. Our friendly guide Paul, gives us a tour of the area and the following day we set off through Dukes lock and through the City Centre of Manchester. Having heard horror stories of the locks and tunnels, what's it really like cruising through Manchester. We are in awe of the Victorian buildings and the City Skyline. We past the Man United Football ground the Trafford Road Bridges before staying in Castle Quay before we take on the challenge of the Rochdale nine.
