Hello everyone! In this episode we visit Hawthorne Valley Farm and make a colorful coleslaw. Thank you for spending the day with me! Hawthorne Valley Farm website: https://farm.hawthornevalley.org Kevin's Colorful Coleslaw: For the dressing: 1/3 cup (77g) mayonnaise 1/4 cup (61g) sour cream 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon (or to taste) local honey Salt and freshly-ground pepper to taste For the "slaw:" 1/2 of a medium head of green cabbage, thinly sliced 1/4 of a medium head of purple (red) cabbage, thinly sliced 1 large carrot, shredded In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced cabbage and shredded carrot to the bowl, and toss with two forks until the vegetables are coated with the dressing. Serve cold or at room temperature.
