Leaping Lip Slurs! Wider Interval Lip Slurs-Daily Practice Tips
Lip slurs are a fantastic way to develop flexibility and access to the different registers of our instrument; while we often practice lip slurs that move systematically from one partial to the next (i.e. 2nd/3rd/4th/3rd/2nd partial) there are a wide range of musical situations where we need to move across wider intervals, and thus wider partial leaps. Take a listen, let me know what you think or feel free to share your own thoughts!
