Please enjoy the "GMLVAN V-01" homes, each showcasing the individuality of its owner, until the very end. ■Sekki-san's V-01 Opening the back door immediately catches the eye with its beautifully arranged collection of LED lanterns, "38 Lights (Miyabi)." Sekki-san collects collaboration models from renowned garage brands such as neru design works, OLD MOUNTAIN, asimocrafts, and CALMA STORE. The reason he started collecting was... He gradually collected models with patterns he liked, and before he knew it, he had accumulated his current collection. He continues to add to his collection whenever he encounters a design that resonates with him. Originally, his hobby was collecting figurines, but he has now parted with some of them and is now avidly collecting garage brand camping gear. The neatly arranged patches on the ceiling above the rear seats are eye-catching accents in the space. Numerous lights hang from the natural wood ceiling in the rear, and he says his favorite is the lamp with a shade hanging at the back. For storage, he uses a "Flip Box" combining a top panel (FLIPBOXTOP) from a collaboration between WHAT WE WANT and neru design works. This box is not only for storage but also functions as a chair or table at times, making it very practical, and he uses it not only in his car but also at home. ■ Mr. Suzuki's V-01 A "GMLVAN" filled with antique camping gear, his hobby of fishing, and DIY projects. Introducing the "V-01". As a detail of the interior design, black metal fittings and boards with a lattice pattern are used on the windows, achieving both insulation, privacy, and storage. The clever combination of ready-made products is striking, and the neat arrangement of fishing gear and other hobbies is eye-catching. A key detail is the wooden center console box. Around it are other handmade wooden items, demonstrating the owner's self-sufficiency in solving the "it might be convenient to have this here" problem. The owner's thoughtful approach to DIY is impressive. The car is fitted with GORDON MILLER forged wheels, which not only changes the overall appearance but also improves the steering weight and driving feel. Next to the V-01 is a striking red tarp, a collaboration color between maico and CALMA STORE. Beneath it, a row of antique camping gear is displayed. Furthermore, a lampshade, also a collaboration between CALMA STORE and GORDON MILLER, blends beautifully into the space. Having been camping for 10 years, they began to feel dissatisfied with the cargo capacity of their previous vehicle. They wanted a vehicle that could accommodate overnight stays in the car and various camping styles, which led them to the V-01. Sekki-san creates a unique van life space woven by light.
