Playing Final Fantasy Tactics with an FF1 Party - Part 4

This is part 4 of my playthrough of playing Final Fantasy Tactics with an FF1 build. Goug Lowtown is equivalent to playing through Melmond, in FF1. ~~I can only use equipment and abilities available up to those points in FF1, with this FFT party.~~ ~~There are no special abilities, only items and magic. Of items, only Potions, Antidotes, and Softs may be used; as per the original release of FF1.~~ Chapter 2 is full of a lot of challenging battles, after the initial sequence, where the party is chasing down Ovelia, is over. Even the Tchigolith Fenlands - which is normally easy (just throw a Phoenix Down at everything) is made more challenging, via a party that cannot use most recovery items, including those Phoenix Downs. This also raised a question - can you even use items on enemies, in FF1? I don't think I've ever tried it before. Finally, at the end of this video, a reward - Melmond. The town where the Life (Raise) spell becomes available. Reviving is now an option, though it is a very limited one. Our Red Mage, Ramza, can use it exactly once in battle. Our White Mage is limited to her current stock of MP, which is low, given the weak equipment pool. Coming up soon is the execution grounds battle. How will our team of Light Warriors fare against this encounter? Stay tuned to find out.
