Delaware River: Day 6 of a 200 mile kayak camping trip
In early June 2024, we set off down the Delaware River for an 8 day, 200 mile kayak camping trip. The trip started at Shehawken Access, just above the confluence of the West Branch and East Branch where the main stem of the Delaware River begins. My trip ended on day 8 in Trenton, NJ, where the river turns tidal. On day 6, I paddled from Driftstone Campground to Wy-Hit-Tuk Park, about 22 miles. It was a fabulous day of rapids and sights!
