The reservoir has an area of ​​90 ha, length 2.8 km and a width of 500 m. Its maximum depth is 5 m. It is characterized by a diversified shoreline with numerous promontories and picturesque bays. It is a lake located north of Szczecinek, in the town of Spore. The easiest way to get there is by the national road number 11, heading towards Koszalin and Kołobrzeg. After Szczecinek, turn the well-marked road to Nowe Gonne. The reservoir is located in the Drawskie Lakeland, the western shore of the lake is surrounded by the buildings of the summer resort village of Spore. The lake is used for tourism and recreation.
