If you think the Suzuki Across looks familiar, there's a good reason for that. It's because, other than a slightly restyled nose to make it more recognisable as a Suzuki, and a new badge, the Across (pronounced Ay-cross) is completely identical to the Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid. Why does the Across exist? Well, because Toyota has a stake in Suzuki, and rebadging a low-emissions car like the Across helps the latter firm meet strict emissions targets.
