During the stop, the deputy became suspicious that the passenger was attempting to conceal or destroy evidence after noticing she repeatedly covered her mouth and appeared to be chewing. Bodycam footage captures officers ordering her to open her mouth and spit out what they believed to be marijuana. Officers later stated they observed marijuana residue around her mouth and recovered additional evidence at the scene. According to the officers, the driver was cooperative throughout the encounter and ultimately received a citation for the illegal window tint. The passenger, however, was taken into custody after officers determined she had allegedly attempted to destroy evidence during the investigation. Following her arrest, the passenger was advised of her Miranda rights and later told officers she panicked after recalling a previous conversation about swallowing marijuana if stopped by police. She admitted regretting her actions during the interview captured on body camera. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the passenger was transported to the Orange County Jail and charged with possession of cannabis and destruction of evidence. This video is presented for educational, documentary, and news reporting purposes. All footage is used in accordance with applicable public records laws and fair use principles. #drugarrest #marijuana #destructionofevidence #policeencounter #truecrime #bodycamvideos passenger caught eating evidence, eating evidence during traffic stop, woman eats weed during traffic stop, destruction of evidence charge, marijuana possession arrest, cannabis possession florida, police bodycam traffic stop, orange county sheriff bodycam, passenger arrested during traffic stop, weed arrest bodycam
