During the stop, the deputy became suspicious that the passenger was attempting to conceal or destroy evidence after noticing she repeatedly covered her mouth and appeared to be chewing. Bodycam footage captures officers ordering her to open her mouth and spit out what they believed to be marijuana. Officers later stated they observed marijuana residue around her mouth and recovered additional evidence at the scene. According to the officers, the driver was cooperative throughout the encounter and ultimately received a citation for the illegal window tint.
