Rolling a 4 Inch Shell Casing
A 4 inch casing for a spider web shell. Because this case will contain 5/8 inch cut stars that will not consolidate too well inside a casing of this size I am rolling this case from 3 turns of 90lb paper and will insert 2 turns of 20 point cardboard to make a liner inside the casing. This liner will give me a fill level indicator as well as give the case extra rigidity and a rim around the inside of the case on which to rest the end disc when closing the case.
