I have been visiting the Parks since the late 1970s and for about 10 years I worked in the tourism industry in Alberta promoting both of these parks. I recognize my bias as I have a deep and genuine love for the Canadian Rockies. But objectively I think it is clear that they are beyond beautiful. In this video, I visit Banff National Park including the Banff townsite (including the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, Cascade Gardens, Cave and Basin, Cascade Ponds, Vermilion Lakes, Two Jack Lake, Lake Minnewanka), Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise, Lake Agnes, Moraine Lake, Bow Lake and Peyto Lake. I then leave Banff National Park and head into Jasper National Park and visit the town of Jasper (including the Jasper SkyTram, Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper Planetarium), Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lake, Pyramid Lake, Miette Hot Springs) and then head deep in the Icefields Parkway and visit Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta Falls, the Columbia Icefield and Columbia Icefield Sky Walk.
