Ellis Amdur - Taikyoku Aikido Seminar at Seiya Dojo

In July of 2015, Seiya Dojo in Severna Park, Maryland, hosted Ellis Amdur for a 2-day seminar that focused on Amdur's Taikyoku ("Great Themes") as they pertain to Aikido, Jujutsu, and Kempo. This video shows a cross-section of the things covered by Amdur over the course of these two days. Seiya Dojo is made up of a group of training brothers and sisters who practice Taikyoku Budo ("Great Themes Martial Way") under the direction of Robert Van Valkenburgh. Founded by Budd Yuhasz, Taikyoku Budo is a principle-based martial system designed around Ellis Amdur's Taikyoku Kuzushi ("Essential Principles for Unbalancing an Opponent") as a container for Chinese internal strength principles applied through Japanese Aikido, Jujutsu, and Kempo.
