Paul writes to the Galatians with urgency: something essential is in danger. False teachers claim that believing in Jesus is not enough, and that religious rules must be added to be saved. But Paul reminds them of a central truth: Christ is sufficient. As soon as works, traditions, or human requirements are added to God's grace, the Gospel is distorted. The real problem isn't always rejecting Jesus… sometimes it's adding something else to him. Even today, many live under guilt, the pressure to perform, or religious pressure.
