Fairy Tree Crafting: A Magical DIY Adventure for @GrandmaSandy #fairygardenthursday

I made this fairy tree a long time ago from tissue paper and Titebond glue. My video skills were not a steady as they are now. So, it's a little shaky but it turned out awesome and the fairy tree was featured in the window at Absolutely Fabolous in Huntington Beach, Ca. Thank you Diane! I would love to have you a part of my magical community: #fairygardenthursday for @grandmaSandy Thank you Grandma Sandy for all your love! #enchantedfairycollab @BonnieOverman @sharronschornagel2714 @sandylynnhomegarden @BarbyDailey-Rurallife40 @growjoyfullyhomestead @heranmouada9864 @doloresrodriguez7895 @DonnaDesigns @DreamWithCaroline @SoulFaeWorld @bernadettesage3917 Steps to making your own fairy tree: -Start with some sort of base. -For this project, I used packing material. -This packing material can easily be sewn together to form a tree shape. -This material can also be cut and formed into branches. -Next I added tissue paper vertically to form tree bark. -I add a little water to the Titebond Ultimate III glue to thin it out a bit. -Use the glue to secure the tissue paper to the tree and form the bark. On this tree I added a knot in the tree. -Paint the entire project with thin layer of Titebond glue. -Let your project dry completely. -Paint with black paint thinned with water. -Next use a light, medium and dark brown acrylic paint on your tree. -Add green paint around the base. -Next, I added green sparkle paint. -I always add moss to all my projects. -On this tree I used pink silk flowers. -I added a door canopy over the door by using a plastic lid and adding moss.
