The outer shell is constructed from a polyurethane tarpaulin that gives it a smoother finish, increased rigidity and a more hydrodynamic outline. It also features three aluminum ribs on the floor and under the hull, providing a sculpted look as well as a v-shaped keel, which aids in slicing through the water. Another element of construction is six inflation chambers (two side chambers, booster seat, two thwarts and the coaming tube) and the dropstitch tubes are removable, allowing one to replace just a part if needed.
