Part 3 of the State Capture report recommends that Nomvula Mokonyane be investigated for corruption
Former president Jacob Zuma has rejected the damning findings made against him in Part 3 of the State Capture report. In a statement released by his foundation, Zuma says the findings by the commission are not worth the paper they're written on. He says he was denied the opportunity to share his side of the story at the Zondo Commission. Meanwhile, the commission has recommended that former minister Nomvula Mokonyane be investigated and prosecuted for corruption. The report points to evidence of her having received bribes from Bosasa. It says Mokonyane was dishonest, contradicted herself, and made it difficult for her version of events to be believed. Newzroom Afrika's Tumaole Mohlaoli unpacks the report. Tune into Newzroom Afrika, DSTV channel 405 for more details.
