Review: Uuno Klami's Glittering Orchestral Works
Finnish composer Uuno Klami (1900-61), unlike many of his contemporaries, took his inspiration from the music of France, and Ravel especially. His compositions are colorful, glittering, and worthy of your attention. He's actually been recorded with relative frequency, and so if you enjoy his music there's a good bit to explore.
