( PECKNARM COS THERES NUFF WAR LIKE VIETNAM ) The We Are Pecknarm (WAP) Documentary is a raw product of mine I decided to make after realising the Peckham area was undergoing gentrification and there not being much or any footage of the area I remember growing up in. I took it upon myself to make history and film those in the area but with an added twist. Peckham is known widely for the negative stigma ie Drugs, poverty, murder, single parent households, even the ugliness of the many council estates. But being from here I know the many positive sides of the residents the media does not promote. The actors, the footballers, community leaders, entrepreneurs, musicians etc if the area is so negative how comes so much positive can come from out of it.
