RARE General Motors EV1 Survivor!
The EV1 was produced from 1996-1999 as a limited lease-only vehicle. Only about 1,100 were made and only around 40 still remain - possibly even less. The others were reclaimed by GM and crushed. The only fully functional EV1 is at the Smithsonian, all others had their drivetrains removed so no one could steal their technology. This is vin #278. EV1 Overview: • General Motors EV1 OverView (I used some parts of this in my video) Who killed the Electric Car Documentary: • Who Killed The Electric Car? (This does cost money to rent/buy and watch, but may be free on other sources) My goal this year is to create 50 videos. Each week I'll be talking about a topic related to electric cars, and I would love to hear what you want to learn about.
