Museo del Galeón is the Philippines’ first immersive maritime heritage museum, located within the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This 9,000-square-meter experiential institution highlights the nation's profound seafaring legacy. Its centerpiece is a massive, full-scale reconstruction of the 17th-century ship Galeón Espíritu Santo, which visitors can physically step inside to experience historical maritime life firsthand. In the museum, you will see the Galeón Espíritu Santo is a 60-meter-long replica of a Cavite-built 1603 galleon ship. The Sea of Lights is an immersive LED dome ceiling simulating oceans, night skies, and storms, and Chronological Galleries is an interactive exhibit detailing pre-colonial mariners, Magellan expeditions, the 250-year Manila-Acapulco trade route, and modern global Filipino seafarers. Operating Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Final entry cutoff is at 6:00 PM). Location: Seaside Boulevard corner Sunset Avenue, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
