Today's Saturday vlog and a light update on what's happening on our farm. We're checking out our newly purchased plot of land, where I'm starting to mow the grass. Unfortunately, the cordless brush cutter isn't very good at long, continuous mowing, so I'm seriously considering buying a sturdy petrol brush cutter—either a STIHL or a Husqvarna. Later in the episode, we head out into the field, where we begin one of the most difficult stages of tobacco growing: removing the lower, unusable leaves. These are damaged, low-value leaves, and those that don't make sense to dry. Their removal will facilitate the first tobacco harvest later. This is very demanding work, mainly due to the position, duration, and pace at which it requires work on the plantation.
