February 3, 2022, Finland, from Ruka we drive to Oulanka National Park. Double-digit sub-zero temperatures, but fantastic weather. But suddenly there's a barrier...is the team at an end of the line? Oh...a tower... But then, to bad luck, good luck...a spot for the night...and the next downer follows immediately...the grey water pipe is frozen. Now only hot air will help...but where to get it? Note on grey water: Grey water in Scandinavia? Where does it go? Tank open or closed? Seriously, folks, that's not even a question for Zottl! If the tap is closed, I'll have 80 liters of ice in there after a few days! Which might thaw again in July. The tank is open! There's no other way. I hardly use any water, I'm alone, and I have eco-friendly shower gel. And again: there's no other way up here. At temperatures of -20 to -30 degrees Celsius, nothing else works!
