Along the way, we climb to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Star and face the challenge of reaching the highest point in mainland Portugal: the Torre. Between stunning drone footage and the hustle and bustle of finding parking, I tell the story of the ancient "Malhão da Serra" and why King João VI ordered the construction of a pyramid to reach 2,000 meters of altitude. Did you know that the pyramid collapsed several times? I even recovered the original inauguration speech from 1940!
