Vincent Systems specializes in the development of medical technology systems for prosthetics. An interdisciplinary team develops innovative products along the entire value chain, from initial concept sketches to customer use. Based in Karlsruhe, the company combines top-level expertise in electronics, software, engineering, manufacturing technology, and design. The startup was founded in 2009 by shareholder and Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schulz. The VINCENTevolution 2 prosthesis features six integrated motors, achieving a range of functions unparalleled in prosthetics. The bionic hand enables active, individual movement of the fingers and thumb and is currently the most actively mobile prosthesis on the market. This high-end prosthesis is controlled via muscle signals from the user. In product development, the company relies on high-performance hardware and software from INNEO. Design, calculation, simulation, and analysis are performed using the 3D CAD software PTC Creo Parametric. Renderings and animations are created with KeyShot. HP workstations with powerful graphics cards are used for hardware.
