Parkinson's, DBS and Me - Episode 12: New Beginnings
In the final episode of DBS and Me, Jo reflects on life after deep brain stimulation. Just 10 weeks after her surgery, she can go out for dinner, put eyeliner on, and even forget she has Parkinson’s for a moment. Jo has her life back. Thank you to the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for supporting our DBS and Me series. Also thanks to David Sangster for original music and the volunteers who helped with the series.
