Tradition, Unity, Diversity, Excellence: Mark Larson on Lincoln High

Mark Larson is the principal of Lincoln High School, in the heart of the city. He sits down with Randy Bretz and Dr. Marilyn Moore to talk about what makes Lincoln High the place it is: students from more than fifty countries, the International Baccalaureate program, the community partners who help carry the load, and the story behind the Links. Mark also traces his own path to Lincoln High — from a small town two hours west, to a seat in the stands at the 2003 state basketball tournament, to more than two decades in the same building. Along the way, the conversation turns to the last days of the school year, the meaning of graduation, and why he still finds his energy in the relationships he builds with students.
