Zombie Killer 6x6 Jeep Driveline re-build
After all these years of abuse, we set out to fix one of the shortfalls in the original design. Previously we used two transfer cases to get our two drive shafts running to the rear, but the middle drive shaft was too short which did not allow the middle axles to articulate much without binding (and sometimes breaking) the middle drive shaft U-joints. Now we install a Trail Worthy Fab. 6x6 Hero Transfer case that eliminates the two transfer cases which will now give us enough room to stretch out the middle drive shafts allowing the middle axle to articulate more without binding. As you can see it works great. The axles could still articulate more, it is now the shocks that limit the travel.
