It has been five months total since they were formed, and in that time, Close Your Eyes, another survival show boy group from Project 7 that ended the same day, has already debuted on April 2nd with an eight-song album and a bulk of pre-debut content. NexT1de, a group formed from Chuang Asia 2, has also already debuted on May 6th, even though the show ended in April. On the other hand, Polarix has been given nothing and they have only been uploading tiktok dance challenges and doing livestreams, like influencers. It's honestly disheartening to see all of them go through the horrible show of Starlight Boys only to end up being treated like this after their formation. They were on the show to debut as kpop idols and now they are being promoted as cpop idols. And cpop idols from survival shows barely release any music. They mainly do variety shows, acting, and modelling for commercials. I truly hope Polarix gets better treatment because I was so excited for their debut and now that a significant amount of time has passed, this is a nightmare. iQiyi's previous survival show groups only lasted less than 2 years, with few actual group promotions. If there are any luminix still out there, please let me know your thoughts because I'm so frustrated and sad for the boys. I need them to get a korean company so they can actually debut as a kpop group because what they are getting right now (nothing) is seriously a disservice to their talent and hard work.
