Fleet Warfare (NWP-3) -- Seapower Conversations

Held May 6, 2021, the latest Naval Warfare Studies Institute (NWSI) Seapower Conversation delves into recent updates to the foundational doctrine of Naval warfare. NWP-3 is the U.S. Navy's doctrinal foundation for Naval Warfare at the operational level. It collectively describes Naval Warfare across the five primary naval functions, and incorporates all aspects of warfare – air warfare, air/missile defense, expeditionary warfare, strike warfare, surface warfare, undersea warfare, and information warfare. This document is designed to maturate as warfare capabilities advance and synthesizes naval power at the Fleet level.
