Truth and Politics (Hannah Arendt)
This video is a look at the 7th Essay from Between Past and Future by Hannah Arendt. This essay is an occasionally terrifying look at the titular concepts that was sparked by the controversy that surrounded Arendt after the trial of Eichmann in Jerusalem. I make no judgment on those events although I will say that the business of taking people's ideas - especially nuanced and complex ideas - out of context, seems to be alive and well in the modern world.
