Great Audition Room Advice from a Casting Director
In this excellent video, Casting Director Stephanie Holbrook describes what to do when you first walk in the door of an audition. She says to skip the chit-chat and focus more on the work. She also stresses NOT to do your breathing exercises and warmups in the room - do it before you come in. She also wants strong choices and a familiarity with the material. Even if its not "correct" its a matter of making a decisive statement as an actor. She explains why it's NOT good to come in asking the CD (Casting Director) questions about the script or part. These things can be adjusted AFTER your first take. See more videos like this at StageBuddyPRO.com
