Alex K started his career in the 90s back home in his native Sydney, Australia. Gaining popularity through his megamixes featured on the Wild FM CD compilations, he signed with Central Station Records and released his 'Kickin Hard' series in 1998. He became synonymous with the Australian bounce sound (also called Hardfloor, or NRG) and moved to the UK after signing with All Around The World Records. Under the names Alex K, Voodoolover, Club Enforcer, Klubbed and Bassfreakerz, he went on to release a huge number of remixes and original productions showcasing his signature bass-heavy sound.
