130 Phibbs Exchange - Crossing Burnaby on a Blustery Autumn Day (Ambient sounds)

When one needs to shop, one cannot avoid the attraction and choices found at Metropolis Metrotown. With time to kill Madame Gallivant found herself among the throes of shoppers wandering Metropolis as well as Crystal Mall next door. One wouldn't expect, however, that returning to the North Shore is as easy as it is, and that's because of the 130 to Phibbs Exchange. During peak hours there is also an express bus; the 222, that takes the same route with much fewer stops. The directions are straightforward, with the bus turning north on Willingdon, dipping down into the Canada Way and Still Creek valley before gaining elevation again, pass The Amazing Brentwood, and continue all the way up to Hastings where we turn east, and before long make a left onto the Second Narrows Crossing (which is uniquely beautiful when driving northward). We leave the bridge immediately upon reaching the first series of exits and drive a couple hundred meters down Main Street where we meet the Phibbs Exchange terminus. A one way trip outside of rush hour load should take no more than 40 minutes.
