KOMPAS.TV - The panel of judges at the East Jakarta District Court granted the objection filed by defendant Tifauziah Tyassuma, also known as Doctor Tifa, in the alleged slander and defamation case related to allegations of a fake diploma belonging to the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. In an interim decision, the panel of judges declared the indictment against Doctor Tifa null and void, preventing further investigation into the main case. Chief Judge Christina Endarwati assessed that the indictment was not carefully drafted, combining provisions from the old Criminal Code and Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the National Criminal Code for the same offense.
