Rawhide - Our Wyoming
Using rawhide to create premium quality horse tack and beautiful art has lost its appeal in the age of mass production and cheaper, easier methods. But Jack Mease of Lander seeks to pass on his mastery of this craft to others and keep the knowledge alive. From preparing the hide to cutting usable strips from it to braiding and finishing, we'll learn along with some of Jack's students this wonderful art form.
