This video shows how to change a timing belt with a partially dismantled accessory drive. All the key steps are shown and the special tools required are explained. The replacement interval of the timing belt is approx. 210000 km. An incorrect procedure or failure to follow the repair guide can lead to engine damage. This may be indicated by noises coming from the timing drive/timing belt drive area. Important: After replacing the coolant pump, the cooling system must be filled with a vacuum device and bled with a suitable diagnostic device in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's instructions. If this is not done, the coolant pump may be destroyed and the engine may overheat.
