Thank you for watching. Today's visit is Lake Daisen Park in Miho Village, Inashiki District, Ibaraki Prefecture. *In the video, I say "Miura Village," but the correct name is Miho Village. I joined a guided tour and will introduce the park using drone footage. After the war, it was used as a hospital until 1997, but it closed and remained off-limits for nearly 30 years, remaining an archaeological site that could only be viewed from the outside. Finally, in 2023, with the help of crowdfunding, it was partially renovated as part of a restoration project and opened to the public. Please take a look at what the park, formerly known as the "Kashima Naval Air Base Ruins," looks like today.
