Lubitch, a young boy grieving the loss of his dear friend Poupelle, was lost. However, just as he was about to give up on believing and waiting and move forward, he one day found himself lost in the Millennium Fortress, a parallel world that controls time. In this world, where clocks that no longer keep time are disposed of, there was a mysterious clock tower that was still standing, but was still standing at 11:59. The only way for Lubicchi to return to his original world was to "turn on this stopped clock tower." As Lubicchi pursues the mystery of the clock tower with his partner Moff, he eventually meets Gus, a man who has been waiting for a promise for 100 years, and learns the story of the broken promise made by Nagi, a plant who has transformed into a human.
