DOUBLING the Boost on my Turbo 8.1 Silverado: tips on wastegates and data logging

So its time to throw caution to the wind and see what this 8.1 can take! We're raising the boost, which means we need a different spring in the VS Racing 60mm gate, and it turns out you can use a Tial spring, but which one? In this upload I cover wastegate tech, how springs and boost controllers work, and finally some things to look out for when you're datalogging after turning up the boost so we can make it safe. Uglytruck is a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 that I swapped in an 8.1 Liter Vortec 8100 496 cubic inch monster. I drove it NA for a little while, but I really wanted to turbo this engine, so with a little fabrication work and some time, it happened.
