Episode 284 175kg ingot casting Lead, Copper, Aluminium, Brass 165kg Four Metal Melt Rixxismetals got in contact a while ago. He asked if I would melt his e-waste into ingots. So he dropped 175 Kilos off here at my workshop. What an absolute gentleman so go and check his channel    / @rixismetals   I want to remind you about how dangers of melting. I accidentally dropped the ingot mould into the water with the ingot. I quickly took it out, but instead of letting it dry properly, I poured hot aluminium into it. Unfortunately, the mould exploded when it got filled, covering me in molten aluminium. Even though I was wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), my clothes, hat, glasses, respirator, camera, and camera stand were damaged. It took me two hours to clean up the mess. The second mistake was using a new crucible that was larger than my usual one. It slipped out of the tongs, causing hot brass to fly everywhere.
