WATCH LIVE | Flash Flood Warnings remain as rivers rise and storms redevelop

SAN ANTONIO - Life-threatening flash flooding continues across parts of South-Central Texas this morning as another round of torrential rain moves across an already saturated region, prompting the National Weather Service to issue its highest level of excessive rainfall risk for parts of the area. Flash Flood Warnings remain in effect until 8 a.m. Wednesday for Medina, Uvalde, southwestern Bandera and southeastern Real counties, where flooding is already occurring. A separate Flash Flood Warning is in effect until 9:45 a.m. for Kerr and Gillespie counties. Forecasters warn the most dangerous conditions may still be ahead as slow-moving thunderstorms continue to redevelop over the same locations. A High Risk for excessive rainfall has been issued for portions of South-Central Texas, signaling the potential for widespread, life-threatening flash flooding. The greatest concern is centered along the U.S. Highway 90 corridor, the western Hill Country, southern Edwards Plateau and the Rio Grande region, where repeated rounds of thunderstorms could dump another 10 to 20 inches of rain in localized areas. _______________ Stay up to date with our social media: KABB on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ KABB on Facebook:   / foxsanantonio   KABB on Twitter:   / kabbfox29   Subscribe to KABB on YouTube:    / kabbfoxsanantonio   For more information, visit https://foxsanantonio.com/ Have a news tip?
