This knot is great for connecting terminal tackle like a hook, swivel, or weight to your leader line, and can be used for monofilament (mono), fluorocarbon (fluoro), or braid fishing line. It shines in situations where you need action for the correct lure presentation (but should be avoided for situations where you need a weedless presentation or can't afford to lose a fish)!
